Savor Boca Experience 2026: A Tasting Route Through Mizner Plaza

October 15, 2026

Which downtown Boca restaurants would you pick if you had one Saturday afternoon and a stamped passport? The Rotary Club of Boca Raton has made its picks for Saturday, November 14. The list is mostly the casual, neighborhood places that come up when you're deciding on lunch. The season's hyped openings mostly aren't on it. A few of the stops are clustered on the low pink shopping center south of Mizner Park, which the city approved in March to be replaced by a hotel.

The afternoon is called The Savor Boca Experience, presented by the Rotary Club and produced by Savor Our City. For anyone in Bel Marra, it's a short drive south to downtown, and it covers more of downtown's everyday dining in three hours than most of us get to in a season.

A Smaller Ticket and a Longer Route Than Last December

Savor Boca isn't new, but it has changed shape. The first version, Savor Boca – A Centennial Celebration, ran on December 6, 2025, as part of the city's 100th birthday. Boca Post reported that it paired a morning historical scavenger hunt with an afternoon tasting tour. That tour featured bites and cocktails themed to each decade from the 1920s through the 2020s.

Here's how the two years compare:

Dec. 6, 2025 Centennial Tasting Tour Nov. 14, 2026 Savor Boca Experience
Stops 10+ restaurants and specialty shops 16 participating stops
Single ticket $75 per person $65 per person
Pair or combo $100 combo with scavenger hunt $100 for two
Premium tier $150 VIP with full cocktails at 4 restaurants No separate VIP admission listed
Tasting hours 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The organizer is different too. The 2026 tour runs under the Rotary Club of Boca Raton, and the Boca Raton Tribune's August announcement says proceeds go to the club's charitable initiatives and community programs, including education, youth development, health and community projects. For local businesses, sponsorships range from the $500 Taste Trailblazer level up to the $10,000 Platinum Palate Champion.

So the ticket costs less and the route is longer. The roster shows how they managed both.

Sixteen Stops You Can Already Eat At

The organizers made a point of picking places you can walk into on any Tuesday, not newcomers. As of the event page today, here are the 16 stops:

Area on the event map Stop Style Address
Mizner Park American Social Bar & Kitchen Modern American 351 W Plaza Real, Ste 315
Mizner Park Kapow Noodle Bar Pan-Asian 402 Plaza Real
Mizner Park Pure Green Juice bar 324 Plaza Real
Mizner Park Serena Pastificio Modern Italian 301 Plaza Real
Mizner Park Spirits and Spice Spirits and spice blends 314 Plaza Real
Mizner Park Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar Coffee and café 501 E Palmetto Park Rd
Mizner Plaza Ramen Lab Eatery Japanese ramen 100 NE 2nd St
Mizner Plaza Poke Jay Poke NE 2nd St
Mizner Plaza Pzza & Pizza NE 2nd St
Mizner Plaza Savia Sicilian 200 E Palmetto Park Rd
Downtown Boca Belladuke's Gourmet pantry 155 E Boca Raton Rd, Unit 313
Downtown Boca Corvina Seafood Grill Seafood 110 Plaza Real S
Downtown Boca AJ's Italian Deli Italian deli See note below
Downtown Boca Just Baked Desserts 80 N Federal Hwy
Downtown Boca La Mesa Café Bistro Coffee and bistro 48 NE 1st Ave #B
Downtown Boca Talkin' Tacos Tacos 493 N Federal Hwy

Some addresses differ by source. The Rotary page puts AJ's Italian Deli at 100 NE 2nd St, but AJ's own site lists 151 East Palmetto Park Road. Poke Jay's site gives 110 NE 2nd Street and PZZA&'s gives 126 NE 2nd Street. Talkin' Tacos is the newest name on the list. The Boca Raton Observer reported a grand opening scheduled for June 5 at 493 N. Federal Highway, across from Mizner Park.

Two of downtown's most talked-about fall names aren't on the roster. Fletchers, the restaurant, lounge and private club coming to 133 S.E. Mizner Blvd. at Royal Palm Place, still says "Opening Fall 2026" on its own site. Parlor Doughnuts at 9 Plaza Real S., Suite 108, now lists daily hours and online pickup on its Boca Raton page. Boca Post's September 8 update noted that organizers might add more stops before the event, so the list could still grow.

The Pink Block in the Middle of the Route

Look at the "Mizner Plaza" rows in that table. Mizner Plaza is the one-story, pink commercial complex on NE 2nd Street, just south of Mizner Park. It has been owned by James and Marta Batasian of Investments Limited since it opened in 1990, and it includes the downtown post office, which was built in 1960. Ramen Lab Eatery has been there long enough that Boca Magazine covered its eighth-anniversary block party in May 2025.

On March 23, 2026, Boca Raton's Community Redevelopment Agency, sitting as the City Council, approved the Mizner Plaza project 4 to 1. The plan covers 132 and 170 NE 2nd Street. It allows a 12-story, 219-room hotel with 30,840 square feet of retail and restaurant space plus structured parking. According to the Boca Raton Tribune, the approval came with several conditions, including structural evaluations and vibration monitoring for the neighboring Tower 155, a raised crosswalk subject to public-works review, and duties to maintain and resurface the alley.

Approval doesn't mean a construction schedule. When the Palm Beach Post reported on April 2, no date had been set for construction to start. That same reporting said there was no official plan yet for moving the post office, and that most tenants' destinations were still unclear. The owner of Poke Jay said he planned to reopen in Boca Raton or a nearby community. The Sun Sentinel reported that the developer had said it would work with tenants on replacement space.

We haven't found any announced closing date for Ramen Lab, Poke Jay or PZZA&, and none should be assumed. What's on record is a block approved for change with no start date announced. The November 14 route runs right through it, so the tour is also an afternoon on a corner of downtown that has been in Boca's redevelopment news all year.

How the Afternoon Runs From Bel Marra

The logistics are simpler than at most downtown events. Mizner Park's visitor page says parking is free in Garages A, B, C and D, with valet listed separately. Once you're parked, the route is designed to be walked. The event page says all 16 stops are within a few blocks of Mizner Park. Walking is recommended, rideshare is allowed, and the map pins are approximate.

  1. 1:00 p.m., check-in. Head to the middle median in Mizner Park to pick up your culinary passport, a swag bag and your raffle ticket.
  2. 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., tastings. Visit the stops in any order. Each one serves a featured bite with a drink of its choosing and stamps your passport.
  3. 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., after-party. Serena Pastificio hosts an extended happy hour with a silent auction, music and raffle prizes.

Mizner Plaza sits between the check-in median and the Palmetto Park Road stops, so it fits naturally into the first half of a loop. Then work back up Plaza Real toward Serena for the after-party.

It's a good outing for houseguests. All ages are welcome. Guests 21 and older get a wristband for alcoholic tastings, and younger guests get a nonalcoholic wristband. At $100 for two, a pair pays $50 each, compared with $75 per person for last December's tour.

Here are the things to settle before November 14:

  • Book through the Rotary Club's registration page. It lists the $65 single and $100 pair tickets.
  • Check the event page in early November, since organizers said more stops could be added.
  • Decide who's driving home. The after-party runs until 6:30 p.m.
  • Leave space for the Palmetto Park Road and Federal Highway stops, where Savia, Crema, Just Baked and Talkin' Tacos sit at the south and east edges of the route.

Downtown is changing block by block, and that affects how people experience the places they love. If Bel Marra houseguests are starting to ask what it's like to live this close to it all, The Dana and Mandy Team is happy to share what we know about the neighborhood, and to put together a free home valuation and a custom marketing plan when the timing is right for you.
